Core drilling
With a diamond crown we create a precise circular opening of any diameter — in concrete, reinforced concrete, masonry or stone. No vibration, no dust, no structural damage.
The tool of core drilling is a diamond crown. It is used to create precise circular openings of any diameter in concrete, reinforced concrete, brickwork, rock and other building materials.
Core drilling is indispensable for building services installations (HVAC, sewage, electrical), anchor openings, structural sampling and refurbishments where every millimetre matters.
Key benefits
Vibration-free
Diamond drilling does not disturb structural integrity — safe in heritage buildings.
Millimetre precision
A clean circular opening exactly where the design requires it.
Any diameter
From small electrical penetrations to large HVAC openings.
Minimal dust
Water-cooled drilling with almost no dust — suitable for occupied buildings.
How the work proceeds
- 01
Setting out
Marking per design, rebar and utility scanning.
- 02
Rig anchoring
Firm mounting of the drill stand for precise guidance.
- 03
Drilling
Water-cooled core drilling, core recovery.
- 04
Finishing
Opening cleanup, site tidy-up, handover.
Frequently asked questions
What opening diameters can you drill?
Typically 20–500 mm; larger openings are made by stitch drilling. Depth is not a major constraint — we use extensions.
Can you cut through rebar?
Yes, a diamond crown cuts steel reinforcement without difficulty — that is why core drilling is the standard for reinforced concrete.
Is it dusty and noisy?
We drill with water cooling, so virtually no dust is produced. Noise is much lower than with demolition techniques.
